Now That’s Customer Service

Every now then, one can be surprised by businesses in their handling of customer service.  This was definitely true for me yesterday with Sony’s Creative Software department.  I had called them because I’d purchases Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 only 12 days prior, while the new Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 had released not but a few days later.  If anything, I was perfectly ok with paying the fifteen dollar difference between the upgrade that I had bought and the current upgrade pricing for version 10.

I had barely even mentioned that I had purchased version 9 only 12 days ago, when she had some computer problems; however when the customer service rep. returned on the line she had already sent out an email with the links for version 10.  I was almost so caught off guard that I didn’t know what to say.  It’s that kind of response that makes a customer, like me, want to return time and time again…
