Adding Trying To Add Fortune Widget to WP-Plugins

Well, I’m trying to be somewhat official with my fortune widget by adding it to the wp-plugins database and committing the code to the svn server.  So far I haven’t had any luck as I keep running into an error when attempt to commit:

$ svn ci -m "Initial Commit" --username ****** --password '******'
Adding trunk/README.TXT
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: CHECKOUT of '/!svn/ver/46246/fortune-widget/trunk': 403 Forbidden (http://svn.wp-plugins.org)

I’ve had very little exposure to svn so I’m not quite sure what is going on, however I do know that several people have run into this but I’ve yet to find an actual solution to the problem.

talk about annoying. so many people can not commit their plugins to the repository. i’ve submitted multiple support tickets, posted everywhere, the WP guys either just dont care or dont have a fix, either way nothing has been said and it’s killing me.
