Kubuntu 7.10 Also Released To The Wild!

As they always do, Kubuntu released 7.10 not to long after Ubuntu did the same. Just grabbed the ISO from George Tech, and I’ve got it writing to a CD as I type. Either way, as I said with the other release, I highly recommend this release for anyone (especially this one because it’s my favorite!).

Kubuntu 7.10 Features

  • KDE 3.5.8
  • http://kubuntu.org/announcements/7.10-release.php
  • Dolphin File Management
  • Restricted Driver Management
  • Office Suite
  • Enterprise Personal Information Management
  • Strigi Desktop Search
  • .deb Package Management
  • KDE 4 Beta 3

  • Localisation

Checkout the release notes for more details, or you could just download it for yourself (and if you happen to have already learned of the joys of Kubuntu, you could simply upgrade). *Note: Screen shots blatantly yanked from kubuntu.com
