Next On Nightline: Government Recommends “Hand Holders” for Taking Pain Meds

Tonight on Nightline, we aired a report regarding persons unknowingly taking more than recommended doses of pain medications, by means of “combination drugs”. After this report the government panel investigated this issue further, and has recommended that every American be provided with a personal “hand holder”. This “hand holder” would then attempt to fill the void of common sense that is obviously lacking in the general public today. In the case of the “combination drugs”, users obviously miss checking the list of active drugs to make sure they weren’t accidentally taking a double dose of the same medication when being taken in conjunction with general pain killers. Thankfully the “hand holder” program can step in and provide extra support when taking over the counter drugs, despite their clear listing of instructions and doses. Don’t forget to tune into Nightline next week as we look into how this “hand holder” can provide support for Americans in more than just medication.
