When Things Are Supposed to Happen

Call it luck, call it what you want, but I definitely think it’s a sign that I’m supposed to make it back home for Dusty’s services. Ok… ok… I’m jumping the gun a little bit here. Within the same day of hearing the news about Dusty, I had a couple people offer help to get me home for the services. Unfortunately the cost of the tickets were so bad it was looking like it wasn’t going to happen ($473 for a ticket from Dallas to Denver). Even with the help, I was uncomfortable asking for that much help from those whom offered. Then, Tuesday morning, while getting ready for work, I hopped online just to double check. Then it appeared. $162 for round trip from Dallas to Colorado Springs. I had to go back and make sure I had picked everything correctly. Despite my disbelief, I was correct in my choices. It was at the moment that I decided this was a sign that I needed to be there, so I coordinated with the powers that be to get the tickets. To those of you whom have assisted in my trip, I thank you dearly…
