WordPress 2.0.4

For those in the blogging world, WordPress 2.0.4 has been released just before the weekend. As reported by their website it’s a significant set of security updates (over 50), that they recommend you get as soon as possible. I have already updated my blog this weekend, along with a few changes to the internals (cleaned up some junk plugins that I really don’t use anymore). I’ve also already started the process of testing the “Widgets” plugin, as this allows more control over what is in the right menu bar without having to hand edit that bar (which is what I’ve done :p). It may be some time before I can get the rolling, but it’ll allow for more integration with stuff like my flickr bar, and possibly a widget (by me) for gallery image blocks.
