Open source meets Monopoly?

Well, as always CNet’s article title is a bit of a stretch (probably in attempt to get people to read)… however Hasbro is changing things up a little bit for the release of a new version of Monopoly called “The Here & Now Edition”. They have on their website the ability to vote for how you think the game should be. While I haven’t taken a crack at a vote yet, I’m sure it may be interesting to see what ends up in the game from the choices given. Social-networking? Open-source? That might be a bit of a stretch, as companies have done such a thing before the social-networking boom.
