Unpossible? Believe it… the greatest web photo gallery system available today has now officially reached it’s next level. Gallery 2 has gone far beyond 1.x by encorporating many features aimed towards people interested in not only bells and wistles, but speed and efficiency with large amounds of photos. The latter of course being the major reason I’ve already started the upgrade process, I’m reaching somewhere around 6,000+ pictures in my collection. While I don’t have them all up yet, I’m working it. I have decided however to pass on some of the bells and wistles and make use of the simplistic “Siriux” theme that comes with Gallery 2 (it’s great for CSS handling to create your own layout as the entire layout is designed specifically for CSS flexability). Either way I have installed Gallery 2 final, and also installed the WPG (Word Press Gallery) plugin, allowing gallery to be embedded within word press. We will see if this continues to provide simplicity over my simple overlay which was worked very well for quite some time.
