Boycott the NHL, Go Watch College Hockey

Boycott NHLAs I sit here, hearing the news of the this year’s NHL hockey season ramping up, I can’t think about it without the lingering bad taste left in my mouth over the last years fiasco. While I enjoy watching C.C. Tiger games live, it was however quite frustrating that I couldn’t watch an occasional Avalanche game on TV. It is now, as I’ve said from the very beginning of the mess, time for all true hockey fans to step forward and let the NHL know how upset you are over what has transpired. It is now, that everyone needs to stop buying that Star’s jersey, or that Shark’s hat, and continue to go see the college or minor hockey games that filled the spaces of last year’s “season”. Continue to support the hockey teams where they are in it for the love of THE GAME, and NOT the money. Continue to support the college hockey players that, while still going to college for things that have nothing to do with hockey, still practice and play with every fiber they have left. And stop supporting players AND a league who are in it simply for the money. I urge everyone, to do this only to show the NHL league, owners and players, that the game and the fans are the most important part… without the game, and without us… they are nothing…

And if you really think that “un-boycotting” is actually going to do any good, then you really need to lay off what ever drugs your on… Do you really think that oversaturation of support will really make any sort of impact?
