Well, the first of the release candidates for KDE 3.4 has just been released. Unfortunately at this current moment the ebuilds are not available in the gentoo portage tree, which I insist on having since it is easier to clean up in case I run into major problems again, but I am in the process of downloading the updated KLAX Live-CD which contains the release candidate. Supposidly in this live cd they have all of the newer features of KDE working, such as the composite handling and increased dbus support (which is what I’m really interested in since Gnome’s had it since 2.8 and KDE’s playing catch-up).
