I do apologize for the boo-boo but it does appear that a plugin that I had activated, but never used, for formating of my posts was the culprit for the sluggishly slow load times. I have de-activated and removed the plugin and it appears as if everything is back to normal. The only thing that I do have to say and wonder though, is why nobody ever comments on anything… I guess no body loves me
