Gentoo Dev Sources 2.6.7-r6 + iptables

Some Gentoo user’s may already know about this, but I’ve been unable to build iptables on two separate laptops running Gentoo Dev Sources 2.6.7-r6.  What I found to be particularly frustrating and of concern is the fact that the emerge appeared to complete successfully, leaving users to believe that everything was fine.  Either way, if you are also plagued by this issue, goto bugs.gentoo.org issue #55501 for information on the patch.

    This issue appears to have been corrected. Emerge the newest IPTables (iptables-1.2.9-r3 I beleive it is…). 55501
