Linux Extremists

I came across a really great article today that I thought I’d share:

Anyone can tell with my previous posts that I’ve become a big fan of Linux, and I’m always advocating Linux to others.  However, these is a difference between zeal and fanaticism in Linux advocacy.  Unfortunately, even I’ve seen to often very hostile responses from Linux fans in response to criticism.  Just recently, we’ve seen an extreme form of this with the DoS attacks upon SCO in defense of Linux.

Please, don’t be that guy.

Don’t flame forums, and email groups.  Don’t force your views down the throats of those who disagree.  Give others the same level of respect that you hope to receive in return.  Even if it means that we simply agree to disagree.
